Above is a brochure recently completed with the lovely team at GP Connections.
We wanted to give the brochure a scrapbooking/photo album kind of feel to express that even though this time may be difficult, its by no means any less real or part of your family's history than the good times are.
Perinatal Despression & Anxiety (PDA) refers to either the mum or dad, having difficulty coping, during the pregnancy or up to one year after the birth of their child. Like depression and anxiety at any other time, depression and anxiety surrounding childbirth can result from a combination of factors.
Depression often disrupts parents at a crucial time and can have an effect on the baby, older children and a couple’s relationship. It is important for mums and dads to get help.
If you think you or your partner may be at risk of PDA please see your Doctor, Midwife or Obstetrician as FREE help is available to visit a Perinatal Practitioner.
